My high school alma mater made it’s way to the class 3A IHSA State Championship game on Saturday.
Unfortunately, they lost 67-63 to Westchester St. Joseph.
Still, they had a 30-4 season.
And, hey, 2nd place is the best that any of our city’s high school teams have done at the state tournament.
So yes.
We shall celebrate.
